Thai Bodywork focuses on the energetic body as well as the physical body.
Applying pressure to points along energy lines on the body, combined with gentle rocking, compression, and elongation of the muscles with yoga-like stretches, serves to relax muscles and open joints, thus allowing energy to flow.

Thai Yoga Sessions
Sessions can be energizing as well as relaxing. I will meet you where you are, and we will not force your body into any position, shape, or stretch. Sessions typically cover the full body, starting with the feet and traveling up towards the shoulders and neck. Body positions such as prone, supine, side lying and seated may be used. Depending on your specific needs some areas can be given more attention than others.
Supporting manifestations like menstrual cramps, constipation, headaches, and back pain can be addressed.
Similar to yoga asana, a combination of passive and active stretching occurs. Deep pressure is not applied, though can be depending on your specific needs. Sessions primarily focus on moving energy through and out of the body.
Potential benefits of bodywork may include increased range of motion in the joints, elongation of muscles, a sense of grounding, bodily awareness, enhanced sleep and energy, and an overall sense of well-being.
